TOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Sat: MILAN
Arrival at Milan airport will be met by driver for our private transfer to Laglio, on Lake Como, approximately 1.5 hours north. Settle in to Villa Denda.
DAY 2 - Sun: LAGLIO
AM - trip to local market to get a few supplies for breakfast and other wonderful goodies/wine for ‘appies’ on the terrace. Quick explore of Laglio
PM – take lake ferry to Como City to do some exploring and check out the local restaurants. Return late afternoon to Villa in time for sampling of the wonderful Lombardian wines and cheeses while enjoying the spectacular view of the lake from the terrace prior to departing for dinner in the local town.
DAY 3 - Mon: LAGLIO
Lake ferry to Varenna & Menaggio to explore and perhaps have a picnic lunch enroute. Dinner in one of the local villages.
DAY 4 - Tue: LAGLIO
AM – relaxing at Villa, optional cycle prior to mini-cooking class
PM – we stay at the Villa, where we will be treated to a fabulous meal prepared for us by a local chef and served on the terrace (weather permitting).
DAY 5 - Wed: LAGLIO
Take Lake ferry to Bellagio – lunch and visit Villa Carlotta. Stroll and enjoy the town.
DAY 6 - Thu: LAGLIO
Tour of lakeside villas (Villa d’Este etc).
DAY 7 - Fri: LAGLIO
Excursion to Swiss village by Lake ferry.
DAY 8 - Sat: LAGLIO/MILAN
At leisure prior to private transfer to Milan. Transfer to our hotel (Hotel Puccini). Afternoon site seeing in Milan – Galleria, Duomo, Sforza’s Castle etc.
Evening we will dine out in one of the many fabulous restaurants of Milan.
DAY 9 - Sun: MILAN
AM – visit the Church of Santa delle Maria Grazie to see Da Vinci’s ‘Last Supper’
Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure – stroll the piazzas and avenues of Milan, browse the many designer shops, enjoy an espresso at one of the numerous Milanese cafes or just sit and watch the world go by.
Optional – take in an opera at the world famous La Scala Opera house. (B)
DAY 10 - Mon: MILAN/MONTEROSSO AL MARE
Free time prior to our departure for the Cinque Terre
Depart Milan for Monterosso Al Mare in the Cinque Terre by train
Transfer from train station in Monterosso Al Mare to our hotel (Lacanda Maestrale).
We will have a chance to take a walk on some of the famous trails of the National Park
Prior to dinner we will be treated to a sampling of wine and cheeses of the Liguria Region. (B)
DAY 11 - Tue: MONTEROSSO AL MARE
Cruise the Bay of Poet’s and visit Portovenere by boat (B)
DAY 12 - Wed: MONTEROSSO AL MARE
Day at leisure – enjoy the scenery, hike or just sit and sip an espresso (B)
DAY 13 - Thu: MONTEROSSO AL MARE
Visit Lerici by boat (B)
DAY 14 - Fri: MONTEROSSO AL MARE
We will journey to Portofino and do a little exploring (B)
DAY 15 - Sat: MONTEROSSO AL MARE/PISA
Leave Monterosso Al Mare for Pisa by train
Arrive Pisa and transfer to Hotel Villa Kinzica
We will visit the 'Leaning Tower' of Pisa and the nearby Baptistry and other architectural gems in this ancient city.
Afternoon at leisure. (B)
...This will be our last night in Italy!
DAY 16 - Sun: PISA
Transfer to Airport for homeward bound flight or continuation of your own extended journey (B)

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person traveling on our tour. If you cancel on or before 45-days prior to the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit to cover our costs. In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less than 45-days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows:

44-15 Days prior to the first day of the tour – 50%
14-or less prior to the first day of the tour – 100%
CHANGES BY YOU: If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment fee of $50.00 per revision per booking. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties (where applicable).
